I never tire of listening to/watching Seth Godin present. He's one of the best speakers I (and most) have experienced, and one of the most brilliant individuals whom I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Here he is at Google, as part of their Authors@Google series. An artful point he makes during the talk, as it pertains to being a Purple Cow:

Remarkable only means one thing: worth making a remark about. The challenge is, if you're going to bother doing something: is it worth talking about? Keep making things worth talking about. It's at the edges that people stand in line. It's at the edges where people notice you.
